Step 1 — Connect Your Exchange (Kraken)

OC9 connects securely to your exchange using an API key.

Start here:

Go to Kraken →

OC9 does not hold or manage funds.
All funds remain securely on your exchange account.
OC9 only sends trade execution signals via API.

Step 1a — Prepare Your Account

• Create or log into your Kraken account
• Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)
• Use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator recommended)
• Never share your login details

Step 1b — Open Settings

From the main page, go to the top right profile icon and select Settings.

Step 1c — Connections & API

Inside Settings, select Connections & API.

Step 1d — Create API Key

Click Create API Key.

Enable ONLY:

• Query funds
• Query open orders & trades
• Query closed orders & trades
• Create & modify orders
• Cancel & close orders

NEVER enable withdrawals.

OC9 cannot move your funds — it only trades using approved permissions.

Step 1b — Open Settings

Step 2a — Save Your API Keys

Kraken will display your API Key and Secret ONE TIME ONLY.

Before closing the window:

• Copy both values
• Store them securely (password manager recommended)
• Do NOT share them with anyone

If you lose the secret, it cannot be recovered — you must create a new key.

OC9 may earn a commission from exchange trading fees at no additional cost to you.

Step 3 — Connect to OC9

Open OC9 and go to:

Settings → Exchange Configuration

• Paste your API Key
• Paste your API Secret
• Tap Save

Then scroll down in Settings to the email notifications section:

• Enter your notification email address
• Turn Critical Incident Alerts on or off
• Turn Daily Summary on or off
• Turn Weekly Summary on or off

Trading remains disabled until OC9 completes safety checks and verification.

Step 4 — Configure Bots & Start Trading

Navigate to the Bots section (left sidebar).

For each bot (this step matters:):

• Choose your strategy
• Select trade mode
• Enter base capital ($ per bot)
• Add more capital later using + Add Capital

Once your bots are configured:

• Tap Resume (top right)
• Then tap Start per bot OR Start All Bots

You do NOT need to run all 9 bots.

Check the Info section to understand which coins each bot trades.

Running OC9 (Important)

OC9 performs best when running continuously:

• Keep the app open
• Avoid force closing
• Maintain a stable internet connection
• Dedicated tablet recommended for 24/7 operation

If the app stops or connection is lost:

• Ensure all bots are stopped
• Tap Reconcile
• Tap Resume
• Restart bots individually or use Start All Bots

OC9 is designed to safely recover — never rush restarts.

Security

• Use API keys only — never share passwords
• Disable withdrawals on API keys (critical)
• Keep API keys private and secure
• Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your exchange

OC9 does not hold your funds and cannot withdraw or move money. Your capital always remains inside your exchange account.

OC9 is designed to run consistently over time — not require constant interaction.

The goal is disciplined execution, not constant activity.

Let the system operate. Avoid over-adjusting. Consistency produces results.
